How to soothe a baby.......??????

We have way to many things to try and quiet Lucie when she is fussin. We have a swing that has 6 speeds and plays music. We also have a baby papasan chair that vibrates and plays a very repetitive tune. She has a baby jungle gym thing that she can lay under and swat at a blue stuffed elephant. She of course has a pack and play that she can lay in, and oh ya don't forget about the arms of mom and dad. My favorite is dad's arms. Sometimes none of these things work, amazing! How did our parents and grandparents do it? Here are a few pictures of Lucie playing in her jungle gym thingy.




Sad day
Yesterday, Justin's grandmother passed away. She was admitted to the hospital last Thursday with very low blood pressure. After an examination it was clear she had an ulcer and was bleeding internally. The doctors did what they could, but to no avail. We were originally going to return to Oregon this coming Saturday for a family get together in Sunriver, but in light of this we are driving back to Hillsboro tomorrow (Wednesday). After our time in Sunriver we hope to see as many friends as we can. We will be at church at Canby Alliance on Aug. 3rd.
