Up close with Lucie

We are having so much fun watching Lucie grow right before our eyes (though last night wasn't a picnic). She is training her mom and dad really well to meet her every need as we try to decipher her coded cries. She smiles, but only in her sleep. Jessie has a reputation for having pretty silly and extreme facial expressions and I think Lucie has that trait. The last remnant of her umbilical cord fell off yesterday. We heard someone say that when that happens they are no longer newborns. Well if that is the case, when does she start walking and feeding herself? When can she go fishing with me?

Check out this clip of Lucie just waking from a nap. Listen closely for something that sounds like a little explosion. That is exactly what it is, a little explosion in her pants, caught on video!
